Amazon Delivery Ignores Disabilities
From 2018-2024 there have been minimal delivery issues with Amazon but from 2024-2026 possibly with the transition from USPS / UPS to Amazon’s delivery drivers, there has been an increase of incidents for me like packages left in the rain in the middle of the lawn, packages left in walkways, blocking stairs, etc.
Below is a video of the driver clearly ignoring the signage. I requested Amazon help with the cost of the signage and they would only cover 1/3rd. Apparently $60 for an Americans with Disabilities style signage is too much for Amazon and a big sign of disrespect.
It creates issues both in accessability and when it gets dark. Despite adding delivery instructions, dialoguing with drivers and customer service it continues to be a major issue,
In some cases, like recently, clumping cat litter was left where it rained and…well liquid and clumping cat litter – you do the math.
I have specific delivery instructions on my account and I had some small signage done at my own expense however I spoke to an amazon driver two weeks ago and he said he does not understand why some other Amazon drivers do not follow the directions other than laziness.

I spent more money on Canva and at WalMart : $21.98 at Walmart for signage and letters, $4.38 with Amazon for ADA, and $63.66 with Canva for custom signage with delivery pictures, examples and instructions, yet on July 9, 2026 as the accompanying video shows, a package is left blocking the walkway – even when there is ANOTHER delivery placed properly as an example prior to your delivery showing up.

Amazon has been unable to supply an explanation of why the deliveries continue to be an issue even with signage. I asked for a courtesy Amazon credit or gift card in the amount of $89.02 to cover the cost of the signage which clearly wasn’t a good spend of my money because their delivery person ignored it. None of this should have been necessary because of the initial signage / instructions that have been ignored over the last two years.

I’m only asking for the additional signage to be covered because it should not have been necessary. I am also asking for this issue to be looked into and why I can’t seem to get the directions followed even with big signs.
Amazon would only issue a gift card of $30 and refund an order that was left in the middle of the lawn when I asked for the other $60 as a gift card. Their delivery people continued to ignore the signage. They spent two emails explaining that they would only do $30 as signage and delivery instructions continue to be ignored.

I do not understand how or why a company like Amazon refuses a simple amount of $60 to help with disability deliver instruction signage necessitated by their ‘delivery faciliated by Amazon’ drivers inability to follow directions and existing signage.
