Socks, Repo and Mepo the Cats

So I had a dark Tabby, brown Tabby, kind of what we would now call a torby. Question tortoise shell the tabby when I was growing up my that was my cat like my cat. My sister had a grey tabby. We cannot call them like a silver Tabby I guess. And, you know her cat died while she was graduating, my mother withheld that information till after graduation from her that cat was Socks. My cat was Sylvester but, you know, after my sister died everything you know, my HVAC guy had this cat that was hanging out.

Apparently. It was the neighbor’s cat neighbor had been evicted by a relative to own the property and the relative one of the cat gone but if they just left the cat and the relative one gone so I did everything I could to get the HVAC guy to you know, catch up with the cat get their fix that kind of thing, but it was apparent that that wasn’t going to happen. So I just said look, come to my house, get a carrier, get the cat, bring it over. We’ll figure it out. I’ll set up a crate for and when he brings over the cat, you know he came and got the crate and then brought over the cat.

The cat was a silver tabby. And because the cat will basically take table scraps that my HVAC guy would give them and run away with them. They named him “Repo” so we kept that name. And the cat still lives with me to stay. I think I have a soft spot for it because it was just like my sister’s cat.

And then one started wandering my my porch and I don’t have any porch cats like I don’t feed them or anything. But this one just kept approaching but he wouldn’t eat and it turned out to be a she and I named her “Me-Po” because I thought that this silver Tabby, just like the other silver Tabby could probably see the one through the window and just go. Me too. I want to come in meet to meet bow so Mepo doesn’t get along with anybody.

So Mepo lives in her own room. Yes, she has her own room entirely because I had her out with everybody else. And she got an abscess and then ended up hospitalized and $300 later her life was saved. I couldn’t throw her back outside, just based on that behavior. She wouldn’t last very long out there.

So she has a room and she’s actually sitting with me as I am working on on this book. But yeah, she just she also reminds me of my sister’s silver tabby cat socks and I think that’s why she’s here.
