The Student Loan Servicing Center: SLSC

So I’m sitting with a kid in her mother’s office and we’re talking about student loans and what it means to be delinquent or default and defaults. 278 70 days now I know from working at the student loan servicing center in the 90s, that defaults never what you want happen we’re going to try and prevent this.

I worked for Pennsylvania Higher Education Assistance Agency, in the Student Loan Servicing Center, or SLSC back in the 1990’s. It’s amazing how much knowledge I gained there that is still useful today. The government is the only entity that can garnish, seize, or otherwise wipe out a person’s funds thru IRS action or student loan action without a court order. Useful knowledge.
