La Casa Church

La Casa Church, a non-denomnational church in Nashville.
3021 Lealand Lane
Nashville, TN 37204

Service Time: 10:30am Sundays

LaCasa Church meets at the Sevier Park Community Center in Nashville. Though the center is a rental, LaCasa brings the nations to it with ease.

The church is easy to find as there are signs for LaCasa as you approach the community center. The parking was straight forward as the community center has plenty of on sight parking. Once parked, you  can see signs leading you into the community center.

As I walked in, I was able to see the chairs and the stage as well as the monitors where the lyrics and sermon notes would be. I was able to sit myself as their worship team rehearsed. I was greeted without being over inundated which was good.

As the service started, the worship lyrics were displayed. The lyrics were bilingual in Spanish and English which was helpful since the singers switched periodically between the two. The lyrics were on side monitors which kept everything visible which has value given the bilingua information available on the side monitors. The same would hold true during service.

As worship ended there was a parade of flags carried by members representing different nations. This was a nice display of the diversity at this church and a good program piece before transitioning into service at this non-denomnational church in Nashville.

During service, the bible and preaching had an interpreter which serviced everyone in the room. The message itself was on serving and how it can overcome other difficulties that exist. The message itself was solid as was the sermon scriptures on screen and the interpretation provided. After the message there was a moment of celebration for the 4th anniversary of this church.

This church celebrated it’s 4th anniversary with some of it’s oversight as guests. The guests came and spoke about church authority, being under human authority, and the fact that the pastors are under both. An announcement of refreshments and food was given and then the dismissal happened.

LaCasa Church, a non-denomnational church in Nashville, brought the nations to the church service with easy access and service for those who did not know English / Spanish. The atmosphere facilitates understanding between cultures. I’d highly recommend this church for anyone with an international interest.

Update: A member of LaCasa church texted based on my new visitor card.
