My first kid was Josh Williams. In his own words…
“When I met Ron I was a sophomore in high school, which would make me around 15 years of age . I just happened to see some other kids jumping on a trampoline so I wanted to join. It just so happened that Mr Ron was house sitting for my ‘uncle Dave’ and that’s how it all started.
I took a liking to him from the very first time and it seems that he took a liking to me as well he brought us to his house and cook for us that’s the first thing I remember lol yes I’m fat.
Then he offered to let us work around his home for extra money do to us being out and not having anything Ron saying something in me that I couldn’t even see and try to guide me in the right direction it takes to church on Wednesdays and Sundays and most weekends took us out to the mall to grab a bite to eat.
He let me cut his grass so I can earn extra money and we spend most of our nights and days that we would not have school at his home. It was kind of like a safe haven. He was something like a guardian angel because we’re all going through very tough things and at his home there was never anything to worry about he always sat me down and told me Josh there’s a better way there’s a better life and for a time I didn’t listen but he kept pushing and pushing and from a distance watch me change into the man that I am today.
At the end of the day I’m very thankful for all the things that Ron has did for me I would recommend him to any other organization as a great leader if it wasn’t for him I don’t know where I would be.”
